MAFS bride Gia Fleur reveals wild way she ended up at the Playboy Mansion: ‘I was broke’
She revealed how she spent her formative years partying it up in the Playboy Mansion with Hugh Hefner.
A Married At First Sight bride has revealed how she spent her formative years partying it up in the Playboy Mansion with Hugh Hefner.
It was one of the first things Gia Fleur mentioned on the 2026 season of the Channel 9 series and it left many stunned.
She didn’t elaborate about her relationship with one of the most famous properties in the world while she was on the show, but has now finally dished all the gossip on TikTok.
The now-35-year-old revealed it all began when she was 18 or 19.
A “renowned plastic surgeon” based in the US messaged her on Facebook inviting her to compete in a beauty pageant he was judging.
Gia said she couldn’t afford to travel to America, but he offered to pay for her flights and put her up in his guest house.
The 35-year-old added that, looking back, it was a “terrible idea” and “very dumb” to accept his offer.
But she figured the man contacting her was famous and if anything went wrong it “wouldn’t look good for him”.
The mother didn’t win anything at the competition and a week later she was still staying with the doctor.
“The week after he said, ‘Oh, you can’t really stay here, you should probably get a hotel if you want to stay in America,'” she recalled.
“At this point I had a one-way ticket and about $800 to my name. I was broke.”
But the surgeon told her there was a party every Saturday night at a property developer’s home in “the Hills” where there would be “a lot of hot girls there”.

At this party, she met a woman named Heather from South Dakota who was in Playboy, both online and in the magazine.
“I was like, ‘She is iconic,'” Gia said.
“She’d just moved from South Dakota, she had nothing either, had nowhere to go, and this guy was saying how he’d just finished renovating these Beverly Hills apartments, he wasn’t going to rent them out yet and we were welcome to stay there for a bit.”
How did Gia get invited to the Playboy Mansion?
Heather told Gia she went to the Playboy Mansion every Sunday for “fun in the sun” and Gia, who grew up watching Girls Next Door, desperately wanted to be invited.
Heather said she could send the then-teen’s bikini photos to Mary, Hugh Hefner’s assistant.
“So she sent bikini photos to Mary, Mary showed them to Hef, and Hef was like, ‘Yeah, she can come’. I was gagged. It was a dream come true,” she said.
“I went to the Playboy Mansion, he ended up putting me on the permanent guest list and I went every Sunday for quite a few months.”
She said she would arrive at 2pm and sit by the pool, have cocktails, eat and swim.
Gia added there were probably 20 women there at a time, and 10 of Hugh’s “older gentleman friends”.
The afternoon would end with the group watching an old-school black and white film together.
The 35-year-old said she still speaks to Heather, who is now married with kids and still living in California.
She didn’t elaborate more about what went down at the mansion, but she teased on TikTok she might reveal more.
