‘Coming back!’ Kyle Sandilands teases huge return
Shock jock Kyle Sandilands has teased a secret new project which is in the works with his former KIISFM breakfast show’s director Bruno Bouchet.
Kyle Sandilands has teased a huge return after his sensational sacking from his KIIS FM breakfast show.
In an Instagram video recorded for a fan page, the shock jock teased a project he’s been developing.
“Let me tell you a little secret,” he said on Wednesday night, “shhhh, don’t tell anyone.”
“I’m working on a new project and all will be revealed soon.
He thanked his fans for standing by him and said he’d read every message of support before promising to be back in people’s ears shortly.
“I’m coming back guys, bigger than ever!” he said.
The video also revealed that Sandilands’ longtime manager and KIISFM breakfast show director Bruno Bouchet, is still by his side.
At one point, Sandilands, 54, starts listing all the things he’s eaten that day and turns to Bouchet for confirmation.
When Bouchet compliments him, Sandilands quips: “That’s Bruno he’s paid to say that, well actually he’s not paid at the moment!”
“Oh that means so much more to me, give us a cuddle!” he adds, moving off camera to do so.
The caption for the video, which was shared on kylesandilands.fans at about 9pm on Wednesday, teased a potential podcast.
“EXCLUSIVE: Kyle has a little message for the fans! Returning to the airwaves? Podcast? We can’t wait!,” it read.
It was met with hundreds of excited comments from fans with one saying: “HE’S ALIVE!!!! This clip made me so happy.”
“I miss him so much !!!!! Hurry back Kyle!!!!” another said, while a third wrote: “Hahahaha I told everyone he will be back! He’s like a dog with a bone and he’ll stop at nothing to get back on air!”
Bouchet was made redundant from his role as director of the Kyle and Jackie O show when the popular breakfast show imploded.
“Earlier this month, my role as show director was made redundant,” he told Mumbrella this week.
Bouchet has been Sandliands’ manager since 2018 and is also the managing director of Sandilands’ company King Kyle Pty Ltd.
