ANOTHER Farmer Wants a Wife contestant quits citing bizarre climate change reason – and ‘villain’ Miranda is sent home: ‘The oceans are dying and I can’t get past it’

Farmer Wants a Wife has been losing more contestants by the day.

The latest to flee the farm was Lily, with the Queensland wildlife vet insisting that the earth was in too much peril for her to waste any more time chasing Farmer Dylan.

The Adelaide Hills sheep farmer, 24, was left in the lurch after Lily, 28, stormed out after a dinner party during Sunday’s episode.

‘I’m having a really hard time justifying everything I put on the line to be here. The world is on fire, the oceans are dying and I can’t get past it,’ Lily said.

‘I’m finding it really hard to sit here and it’s just not me’.

Lily was offended that her rival Ally, 23, a chocolate shop worker from NSW, had kissed Dylan behind her back on their double date and undermined her efforts to get close to him.

‘In a group environment, I just don’t subscribe to that kind of behaviour. I found it really disrespectful and it was sneaky to go behind my back,’ she said.

‘I came here to find something and I’m trying to follow my heart, but my heart is telling me that it doesn’t belong here. It’s telling me that it belongs out there.’

Lily packed up and left after delivering her scathing diatribe, with Dylan admitting he was left ‘rattled’ by the departure and didn’t agree with Lily’s reasons.

Elsewhere in the episode, Farmer Zac sent home the series ‘villain’ Miranda after tiring of her clashes with the other ladies, particularly her rival, Maya, a 22-year-old medical receptionist from Victoria.

Miranda, 21, was angered after Maya badmouthed her to 24-year-old Adelaide apple farmer Zac and his twin sister.

‘I still don’t think it was fair, the position I was put in, and the things you said about me to Zac’s sister,’ Miranda said to Maya during a dinner party.

‘I am hoping that everyone can see that I am not what Maya has made me out to be and that she goes home,’ she reasoned.

However, it was Miranda who Zac sent packing, with the real estate agent in disbelief over his decision.

Zac said that he was unsure Miranda was on the show for the right reasons.

‘This spark is definitely there with Miranda. I felt it,’ he said.

‘But obviously there’s been a couple speed bumps, and that’s what worries me, because those speed bumps can turn into flat tyres at the end of the day.

‘I wanna make sure everyone is here for the right reason of finding love.’
