MAFS’ Bec spills on her new job giving relationship advice: ‘Great opportunity to help people’

“I am so excited to bring a little fun out of a really exhausting and humiliating experience that I had on MAFS.”

Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2026 star Bec Zacharia may have lost her job over her abrasive behaviour at one of the show’s Dinner Parties, but she’s already bounced back, landing a new gig giving relationship advice for a news publication.

Bec announced the exciting news on TikTok and asked readers seeking guidance to send in their questions.

Bec on MAFS

“It’s Bec Zacharia here from Season 13 of Married at First Sight Australia, as you’ve probably all watched, and you all know, I have been through the absolute ringer on a roller coaster throughout my time on maths, but I’ve also learned a lot along the way, and now I want to help you,” Bec began in a video posted by Adelaide news publication The Advertiser.

“So what dramas do you have going on in your life? Is there relationship issues, family issues? I want to hear about it, and I want to help you send them through to me. I can’t wait to speak to you.”

Bec told Chattr that she’s looking forward to turning her negative experience of having her heartbroken on national TV into a way to help others.

“I am so excited to bring a little fun out of a really exhausting and humiliating experience that I had on MAFS. I have learnt sooooo much about myself and relationships from the experts and my time, so this is a great opportunity to have a little bit of fun and help people,” she said.

Bec explained that the segment will be “very much an agony aunt type thing” but stressed it is intended to be playful and entertaining rather than something viewers should take too seriously.

“It’s just a bit of fun…. everybody takes things so seriously these days, and this is just a great opportunity to help people in a light-hearted way. I am by no means a relationship expert, nor an i going to be giving life-saving advice, it’s merely to connect with people, in a fun, informative, different and exciting way,” she added.

What happened between Bec and Danny on MAFS Australia?

Bec’s comment about her ‘humiliating’ experience on MAFS Australia is referencing the moment her TV husband Danny made it all the way to Final Vows with her, only to brutally dump her at the last hurdle.

Towards the tail end of the experiment, Bec made it clear that she wanted Danny to break up with her before Final Vows, if he didn’t see himself saying yes. In an interview with Chattr, she revealed that she tried to break up with him after the Grass is Greener challenge, which occurred days before Final Vows, for this very reason.

“I said to him, Daniel, I don’t want to do this anymore. It’s over. And he begged me to stay,” she said.

“That was the same day he told me he was falling in love with me, and I think seeing that I was very much done, he was like, ‘Okay, well, we need to go to Final Vows.”

Bec shared that a few days after the MAFS Australia Grass is Greener challenge, Danny told her they were “100% leaving together,” only to blindside her and dump her at Final Vows.
